    ‍Days pass, hours pass, minutes pass. The sun rises over the horizon and the days continue to add up to one. Time for a final analysis of my life. This is what I did wrong at work. My manager was not on top of things, or she wasn’t interested in them. She didn’t realize that by relying on me too much she was putting my job at risk. It wasn’t just my job that was at risk – it was everything around me as well! When you rely on someone else to take care of you, it can feel like they are your entire team—your worst fears come true! There are so many things you don’t tell your family and friends about yourself first, and then everyone else second. So let’s unpack what makes a good manager and why trusting them with your fashionfactsnow business interests is risky business.

    You’re Too Good for Your Workers

    When you’re too good for your workers, you’re in over your head. You don’t know what to do with them. You’re too proud to ask, and you don’t know how to discipline them. You think they are perfect, and you don’t know how to make them humble, submissive, or empathetic. You’re over your head with too many people! You’re either working like a never-never or your team is on fire fashionnowdays. When your team members are working like champions and you are working like a one-person-outfit, it’s hard to know how to respond. So you end up doing one or the other. You’re either a one-person-outfit or a million-person-outfit.

    You Lack the courage to shake things up
